1. A HAMMER:
“‘Is not my word like fire,’ declares the LORD, ‘and like a hammer that breaks rocks in pieces?'” – Jeremiah 23:29
2. A MIRROR:
“Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like.” – James 1:23,24
3. A FIRE:
“But if I say, ‘I will not mention him or speak any more in his name,’ his word is in my heart like a fire, a fire shut up in my bones.” – Jeremiah 20:9
4. A LAMP:
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” – Psalm 119:105
5. FOOD:
“Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, ….” – First Peter 2:2
