‘Watch out for the teachers of the law.

1. They like to walk around in flowing robes and
2. be greeted in the marketplaces, and
3. have the most important seats in the synagogues and
4. the places of honor at banquets.
5. They devour widows’ houses and
6. for a show make lengthy prayers.

Such men will be punished more severely.'”
