“Sorrow looks back. Worry looks around. Faith looks up,” is a popular Church sign. I know that it has been used twice somewhere.
I looked up “sorrow, worry” and “faith” in The Collins Concise Dictionary.
“SORROW” is a feeling of sadness, grief and regret.
“WORRY” is to be anxious and uneasy. It disturbs the peace of mind.
“FAITH” in Christianity means trust in God, his actions and promises. It means also strong belief in something without proof.
Charlotte Bronte says, “I avoid looking forward or backward, and try to keep looking upward.”
