“Best book I’ve read and why?” is one of the questions I found in the box. I discovered the little box on a table in one of the restaurants in Mangonui on my last trip to that place.

“TABLE TALKERS” was written on the lid of the box and on the bottom of the box I read the following, “Find out the answers to 46 revealing questions in the box and get to know your friends and family a lot better at your next social occasion.

I’ve just read a real page turner, but when it comes to tell you about the best book I have ever read and still reading mostly every day, I can tell you straight away that it is the Bible. I don’t even need to think about it even for a moment.

There are many reasons of course why I think that it is the best book, and there is also a main reason.

• If we are looking for knowledge of God, we find it in the Bible.
• If we are looking for divine truth, we find it in the Bible.
• If we are looking for everlasting life, we find it in the Bible.

The author of the BIBLE is the HOLY SPIRIT. For most people the Bible is like any other book, but for those who are born again, the Bible us alive.

And here is the main reason why I think the Bible is the best book I have ever read: In the Gospel of Mark chapter 13:31 it says:

“HEAVEN AND EARTH WILL PASS AWAY, BUT MY WORDS WILL NEVER PASS AWAY.”

I surely like the “Table Talkers,” because it is not only that I get to know my friends and family a whole lot better, but they are getting to know me a whole lot better as well, they are getting to know that I am a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ.
