Turning “I think you need to thank your lucky stars” over in my mind and looking for the meaning, I am finding the following definition in the HOME STUDY dictionary, “One of the planets in astrology, supposed to have influence over a person’s life, hence, ‘You may thank your stars'”. That astrology is “the study of the alleged influence of the stars, … on human affairs”, says the Collins English Dictionary.

I don’t know about thanking my “lucky stars”, but I am thanking the Lord Jesus Christ, who created the stars.
