“GONE FISHIN”
At The Warehouse here in Kaitaia you can pick up a very interesting 2011 Tide Chart.
The Warehouse Fishing Ambassador is writing:
“I am passionate about making fishing more accessible to every New Zealander, especially children. By providing good quality brands at great prices, the range at The Warehouse allows more people to experience the fun and excitement of fishing.” It says also “New Zealand’s leading fishing brands available at the Warehouse.” The leading brands are listed.
I am also passionate about fishing.
The Bible says in Matthew 4:19,20 “‘Come, follow me,’ Jesus said, ‘and I will make you fishers of men.’ At once they left their nets and followed him.”

THE FUTURE……………AGAIN!
“AVOID FOOLISH CONTROVERSIES.” – Titus 3:9
This morning I read what C. H. Spurgeon is writing in his Daily Readings “Morning and Evening.”
“Avoid foolish controversies.” Titus 3:9
He writes:
“There are, however, some questions which are the reverse of foolish….”
C. H. Spurgeon has seven questions. Here they are:
1. “DO I BELIEVE IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST?”
…………………………………………………………………………………………………………
…………………………………………………………………………………………………………
2. “AM I RENEWED IN THE SPIRIT OF MY MIND?”
………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
3. “AM I WALKING NOT AFTER THE FLESH , BUT AFTER THE SPIRIT?”
………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
……………………………………………………………………………………………………….
4. “AM I GROWING IN GRACE?”
………………………………………………………………………………………………………
………………………………………………………………………………………………………
5. “DOES MY CONVERSATION ADORN THE DOCTRINE OF GOD MY SAVIOR?”
………………………………………………………………………………………………………
………………………………………………………………………………………………………
6. “AM I LOOKING FOR THE COMING OF THE LORD, AND WATCHING AS A SERVANT SHOULD DO WHO EXPECTS HIS MASTER?”
……………………………………………………………………………………………………..
……………………………………………………………………………………………………..
7. “WHAT MORE CAN I DO FOR JESUS?”
…………………………………………………………………………………………………….
…………………………………………………………………………………………………….
I have left some space under the questions for answers.
Please print this post and answer the seven questions!
“Keeping the faith”
Shall I be surprised to find an article called “Keeping the faith” on page 02 in the Westpac Economic Overview ? (October 2010)
The article begins: “The economic recovery has slowed to a snail’s pace and near-term indicators are soft.”
Keeping the faith.
In the Bible, the Word of the Living God, the apostle Paul says in Second Timothy 4:7
“I have fought the good fight,
I have finished the race,
I have kept the faith.
Please read Second Timothy 4:6-8
In Hebrews 11:1-40 we are reading about more people who have kept the faith:
Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham.
Hebrews 11:13 “All these people were still living by faith when they died.”
