Some of us come from sweet homes. Some of us come from violent homes. (There is a post about sweet homes and violent homes on this blog!)

But we all end up one of these days in a FUNERAL home.

AND WHAT THEN?

Is it the End Station?

Not for me.

We do read about our Final HOME in the Bible, the Word of the Living God. The Lord Jesus Christ says himself in  John 14:2 “In My Father’s house there are many dwelling places (homes).” (The Amplified Bible.)

This final home is for all those , who are trusting in GOD and those who are trusting in the LORD JESUS CHRIST.

According to the front page of a calendar I am living in “PARADISE”!

On the calendar it says:  “FAR NORTH PARADISE – 2009 CALENDAR.”

They are still for sale and it is already July 2009!

A couple of days ago we had really bad weather.  “TORNADO HITS KAITAIA” was the headline in the local paper. Houses were damaged.

Only today I was told that one of my friends from years ago is going to be ordained as an Anglican minister soon. He said himself, “The seed was planted when I was five years old by missionaries from the United Maori Mission.”

I knew those missionaries. They started us off with the mission work here in Kaitaia among the Maori people at the end of 1980. (Almost 30 years ago.) They are now both with the Lord . George loved to go into the schools to teach the BIBLE. He did that even after he was officially retired.

Praise the LORD for missionary couples like that!
