A cavalcade of tractors travelling from the south to the north of the country arrived in Kaitaia today.
The purpose is to raise funds and awareness for New Zealand Hospices.

AWANUI is a township in the Far North District of New Zealand, 6 km north of Kaitaia. (“Large river.”)
REASON FOR THIS POST:
Most visitors to New Zealand are going to Cape Reinga. All tourists who have been at Cape Reinga have passed through Awanui.
I am thinking of all the people and their stories from all over the world who have passed through Awanui.
