US $24.99 is written on the back of the The Life Application Study Bible, New International Version edition, which I have here before me.

The Bible has not been in my possession for a long time. I am picking it up quite a bit to study it. In order to make reading easier, I am not only using my glasses, but also our magnifying glass, which we picked up second – hand some time ago.

I notice also that the Bible has more than 2368 pages, is quite heavy, and that I am as yet not really familiar with the book.

Only yesterday I found out that the cost of the Life Application Study Bible here in New Zealand is NZ $35.14. I bought the Bible and another book for about one Dollar – if I remember correctly – from a beach bookstall second – hand. (Really good condition and nothing written in it, not even a name.)

What is Christmas?

CHRISTMAS is the time of celebrating the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ.

“The Book of Books,” the Bible, tells us about the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ in Luke 2:1-7.

Luke 15:23: “…, and let us revel and feast and make merry; …” (The Amplified Bible)

CHRISTMAS reminds us that there are still many people around the world that are yet to receive the greatest gift of all, SALVATION and a RELATIONSHIP WITH THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.

It says in Acts 4:12, “‘Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.'”

Have you received the greatest gift, the gift of Salvation? Do you have a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ?
