Red Shield Appeal in Kaitaia

‘… Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other,’ – John 13:34 (NLT) I saw written on the little card when I opened it yesterday.

I had received it at the stall in front of the local Salvation Army Place here in Kaitaia. People who are supporting the Red Shield Appeal, 4-10 May, don’t only get one of those little cards, but also a thank-you sticker.

“Memorize that verse,” I keep on telling myself.

To win a copy of  in Jesus’ Name, tell us  how you experience God in everyday life.

“I guide you in the way of wisdom and lead you along straight paths,” is the promise in Proverbs 4:11.

We can experience the truth of that promise and sometimes we experience the truth of that promise in a special way. The Lord is opening our eyes to His leading. Saints are rejoicing when they are thinking about the leading of the Lord. Fanny Crosby did.

First Corinthians 15:58

3.  Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord,

End:

because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”

The Next Generation

The Lonely Planet guide

The Lonely Planet guide

Whenever I read or hear about the next generation, I am wide awake.

The AUSTRALIAN Lonely Planet guide tells me about the next generation and the Great Barrier Reef.

There are people who are concerned that the Great Barrier Reef will not be here much longer and that the next generation may never see it.

The Bible tells me about the next generation and the commands of the Lord.

There are people  who are concerned to impress the commandments of the Lord on their children.

I belong to those people who are concerned to talk about the commandments of the Lord to the next generation.

The Lord Jesus Christ says in Matthew 24:35: “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.”

All these must be done for the strengthening of the church.”
