Es ist schon ein grosser Anfang in der Erkenntnis Gottes, wenn wir, bevor wir zu erkennen vermoegen, was er ist, zu erkennen anfangen, was er nicht ist.” – Augustinus von Hippo

“God’s Ultimate Purpose”

Buy it and read it! Here a quote from the book:

“Why do I believe this gospel?, why am I not today as are so many millions in the world? Why am I interested in the Bible?, why do I believe it? There is but one answer. It is by the grace of God, who worketh in me mightily.” – D M Lloyd – Jones

So if you would  live a full and rewarding life in this world you must start by realizing that the highroad to such a life is to consider the world to which we are going, to meditate on ‘the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints’.” – D M Lloyd-Jones

“GREAT EASTER READS”

"THE BOOK OF BOOKS"

“THE BOOK OF BOOKS”

“Great Easter Reads” are advertised in the newspaper today. (Saturday, April 4, 2015)

The poster standing in front of the dairy here in Kaitaia tells me that.

I don’t know anything about the “Great Easter Reads” in the paper, because I did not buy a paper, but I want to tell you about the Greatest Easter Reads:

“And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you.”

“We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.”

You find those reads in the Bible, in the New Testament in Paul’s letter to the Romans. Romans 8:11; Romans 6:4.
