THE CROSS
“Take up your own daily cross;
it is the burden best suited for your shoulders,
and will prove most effective to make you perfect in every good word and work
to the glory of God.” – Charles Haddon Spurgeon
REPETITIONS
The repetitions I read on the front pages of The Warehouse mailers, there are three at the present time, remind me of the method of teaching of a good teacher.
For example, when a good Bible Teacher teaches a letter written by one of the Apostles verse by verse, he repeats what he has said in his previous lecture, he gives a summary of the week before.
A good teacher reminds the listeners carefully of what they have learned last time. A good teacher knows the importance of repetition.
About one preacher of the gospel it is said that his summary was almost as moving as the previous lecture.
“Outdoor Living for less,” “Joyfully low prices,” and “Your Summer of low prices,” I am reading on the front pages of the three mailers.
