“‘Hear, O Israel,

Deuteronomy 20:3,4

Intr.:

today you are going into battle against your enemies.

1. Do not be fainthearted or

2.  afraid;

3.  do not be terrified or

4.  give way to panic before them.

End:

For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.'”

It is the most beautiful day and we are enjoying the sunshine.

Just the perfect day to go for a ride on the motorbike (Suzuki SJ50QT).

Motorbike riders are required to turn lights on whenever they are on the road. Something to get used to.

“Lest We Forget”

ANZAC DAY

Please find some ANZAC posts on this blog.

“THE END OF THE WORLD” by Bruce Milne

Reading the book THE END OF THE WORLD by Bruce Milne takes me quite some time.

The chapter I am reading now is called “THE MILLENNIUM”.

“Beware

of

half truths;

YOU

 MAY HAVE THE WRONG HALF!”

I like this flower

“If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the LORD does not take place or come true, that is a message the LORD has not spoken.” – Deuteronomy 18:22

That is the message on the advertisement I am looking at (Coffee News, Vol 156:5).

The ad tells us that the Red Cross is training people in FIRST AID. It says there also that the Red Cross leads the world in First Aid Training.

“Know it before you need it.”

We cannot know enough and we cannot learn enough.

But there is one thing we really need to know and learn and that is the Teaching of the Bible.

The Bible tells us that THE DUTY OF THE PARENTS is training the children in THE WAY THEY SHOULD GO.

In John 14:6 the Lord Jesus Christ says that he is the WAY. He is not only the Way, he is also the TRUTH and the LIFE.

Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.”

You may never need your First Aid Training, but you need the Lord Jesus Christ.
