“STUDY YOURSELF SILLY” and “We’ll save you some bucks while you hit the books,” I am reading on the front cover of a Kiwibank brochure, which is all about the Kiwibank “Tertiary Pack”.

While thinking about that, I am asking myself the question: “How many people are going to hit “THE BOOK OF BOOKS” today here in  Kaitaia, where I live, in New Zealand and in the whole world?

THE AMPLIFIED BIBLE

I don’ think there are any statistics, but the Lord knows how many people worldwide are reading his word, the BIBLE, today.

In the book called 1000 NEW BIBLE READINGS  by Dr. F. E. Marsh I am finding the following Bible reading on the Bible:

B  Beautiful in its language – Psalm 23

I   Incorruptible in its nature – First Peter 1:23

B  Blessed in its bestowments – Psalm 32

E  Enlightening in its guidance – Psalm 119:105

If you say, “I don’t understand the Bible,” ask the Lord Jesus Christ to open your mind. In the gospel of Luke it says almost at the end:

“Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures.” – Luke 24:45

I read the Bible today, I read chapter 36 in the book called Isaiah. It is the chapter where Sennacherib threatens Jerusalem,

In one of our papers here in the north of New Zealand, the NORTHERN NEWS, July 10, 2013, I find the Milestones feature.

Contributions (Pictures) are welcome. It is all about “Celebrating our People”. “Just got married, had a baby, graduated or celebrated you golden anniversary,” are milestones, I am reading there also.
