I found this little card today on the street in KATAIA / NZ, and I am glad that I bothered to pick it up.

A long time ago I was given a Busabout Kaitaia concession ticket worth $45.00. Or should I rather say I won it because I answered half a question?

On that ticket are five return journeys from Kaitaia to Pukenui or from Kaitaia to Mangonui.

Today I went to Mangonui.

In Mangonui I was surprised to find the following headlines:

I was present at the parade and busy taking pictures and did not see any rioting.

In Mangonui you can see Pohutukawa trees. The tree produces red flowers in the summer. That is about now. The Pohutukawa tree is also called Christmas tree.
