“POWERFUL MESSAGE: Congolese band Sowers coming this way with some extraordinary music.”
St Saviour’s Anglican Church,
Church Road Kaitaia,
Friday May 6.
“FORGED IN THE FIRES OF CONFLICT”
“TEAR Fund events manager Sarah Jamieson said New Zealanders had been the first in the world to hear SOWERS live outside their homeland last time they toured, and won the hearts of their audiences.”
The headline “ANOTHER POWERLESS SUNDAY” in the local paper, The Northland Age,Tuesday, April,19,2011 took my attention, as you can well imagine.
The first paragraph of the article begins like this:
“The very Far North is about to have another Sunday without electricity (May 1, weather permitting, with May 15 the reserve day) to allow for maintenance…..”
Here is now my question:
DO YOU THINK YOU HAVE A POWERLESS SUNDAY IF YOU DON’T GO TO CHURCH ON SUNDAY?
