“Reuse, Recycle. The world is in your hands.”

Reading “The world is in your hands,” makes me wide awake and the spiritual (hymn) “He’s got the whole world in his hand,” by Obie Philpott comes to my mind.

But there is more written on the bag, namely “This bag is 100% recyclable made from 60% PC recycled content. Please reuse & recycle the bag.”

But let us also listen to what the Bible says:

“My own hand laid the foundations of the earth, and my right hand spread out the heavens; when I summon them, they stand all up together.” – Isaiah 48:13

“If I were hungry I would not tell you, for the world is mine, and all that is in it.” – Psalm 50:12

I believe the teaching of the Bible and what Obie Philpott says in the spiritual (hymn), namely that the whole world is in the hand of the Lord Jesus Christ.

THE BIBLE SAYS: “Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellowman has fulfilled the law.” – Romans 13:8

The three 30,000-litre water tanks on Kaitaia’s A&P showgrounds. That’s where we are picking up our water when the town’s water supply is running out. Plastic containers will be provided by the council.
