WHAT IS THE GREATEST GIFT?

“There is no greater gift than mobility,” says the ad in the paper. “Outdoor and Now Exclusive FLIGHT/CRUISE/TRAVEL Fold-up, Light Weight Scooters,” are advertised.

Reading that I am asking myself, “What is the greatest gift?” because I notice that different people give different answers to that question.

In one of my books someone writes

  • THAT THE BIBLE IS THE THIRD GREATEST GIFT,

The Bible, the Word of God

  1. Foolish people despise the Bible.
  2. The Bible is the Book of the Ages. Matthew 24:35
  3. The Bible is Food for the Soul. Psalm 119:103
  4. The Bible is divinely inspired. Second Timothy 3:16
  5. The Bible gives us Hope. Romans 15:4
  6. The Bible gives Knowledge of Eternal life. First John 5:13
  • THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE SECOND GREATEST GIFT AND
  1. The Holy Spirit dwells in believers. First Corinthians 3:16
  2. The Holy Spirit is our Teacher. Luke 12:12
  3. The Holy Spirit gives Life. John 6:63
  4. The Holy Spirit is called the Spirit of Truth. John 14:17
  5. The Holy Spirit is called the Comforter. John 14:16 (Authorized Version)
  • THAT THE LORD JESUS CHRIST IS THE GREATEST GIFT.
  1. The Lord Jesus Christ is the Creator. Colossians 1:16
  2. The Mission of the Lord Jesus Christ. Matthew 5:17; Matthew 20:28; Luke 4:43; Luke 12:49; Luke 19:10; John 3:17; John 9:39; John 10:10; John 12:47; John 18:37; 1 Timothy 1:15.

“FOR THE SON OF MAN CAME TO SEEK AND TO SAVE WHAT WAS LOST.” – Luke 19:10

The question is: “What is the greatest gift?”

What is your answer?

I have seen this message in the Far North of New Zealand.

  • COMPLETE IN KNOWLEDGE AND
  • COMPETENT TO INSTRUCT ONE ANOTHER.

End:

I HAVE WRITTEN TO YOU QUITE BOLDLY ON SOME POINTS, …”

“But if the watchman sees the word coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people and the sword comes and takes the life of one of them, that man will be taken away because of his sin, but I will hold the watchman accountable for his blood.” – Ezekiel 33:6

WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION IN THE WORLD?

Image

What do you think the most important question is?

The most important question is:

DID THE LORD JESUS CHRIST RISE FROM THE DEAD OR DID HE NOT RISE FROM THE DEAD?

The Apostle Paul discusses the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ in his first letter to the Corinthians in chapter fifteen.

A. WHAT IF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST DID NOT RISE FROM THE GRAVE?

This message can be seen on the road from Kaitaia to Ahipara on the left side.

First Corinthians 5:12-19

  • Preaching is useless;
  • Faith is useless.
  • We are still in our sins.
  • Christians misrepresent God.
  • Dead Christians are lost.
  • Live Christians are to be pitied.

B. WHAT IF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST DID RISE FROM THE GRAVE?

  • Verses 4ff: He is alive and we can meet him.
  • Verse 3: He died for our sins.
  • Verse 54: There is no more fear of death
  • Verse 22: His resurrection means that we will also be resurrected.
  • Verse 57: Through him we can be victorious.
  • Verse 58: He has work for us to do.

I have experienced that the Lord Jesus Christ is alive.

What about YOU?
