What do you see?

TAURANGA BAY: In the north of New Zealand.

Not only holiday-makers, but also mariners and fishermen are charmed by the surrounding landscape.

“BOTTLE TREE”: Seen on my way from Kaitaia to Mangonui.

I know there are real bottle trees in Australia. Does anybody have a picture of a real Bottle Tree? I would like to see it!

SEEN TODAY: In Mangonui are many shops catering for tourists.

ARRIVAL IN MANGONUI: Township, 37 km northeast of Kaitaia.

MANGONUI WHARF: The wharf serves the local fishing boats.

I have a card which entitles me to FREE day trips not only to Mangonui, but also to Ahipara and Pukenui.

MANGONUI : The fish shop is World Famous!

You meet there people from all over the world.

Today I talked there to a monk from Sri Lanka about my belief in Bible. More, dressed in their robes, were also listening, including a nun.
