The station was established in 1819.
Here Maori invited visitors to live among them. (One of the first places where that happened!)
Here in Kerikeri are two of the oldest buildings of the country:
THE STONE STORE
The stone store, Georgian-style, was a warehouse, but became later
Today it is a gift shop. Above the shop is a museum.

I know W.E.C. International quite well. W.E.C. International is a mission facilitating agency.
The so called “10/40 window”, a region of the world, is the stronghold of ISLAM, HINDUIS and BUDDHISM. Most of the over 1800 W.E.C. workers serve in that region. They come from 50 nationalities. They are ministering in over 70 countries. W.E.C. International is a mission facilitating agency, and was founded in 1913, aiming to plant indigenous reproducing churches among the least evangelized peoples of the world. W.E.C. International is multicultural. W.E.C. International is inter-denominational.
The reason why I know W.E.C. International quite well is because I was a worker of the W.E.C. family not only in Thailand, but also in New Zealand.
