Ich bin wirklich von dem begeistert, was ein ehemaliger Bundespraesident gesagt hat:

“Es kann nicht die Aufgabe eines Politikers sein, die oeffentliche Meinung abzuklopfen und dann das Populaere zu tun. Aufgabe eines Politikers ist es, das Richtige zu tun und es populaer zu machen.” – Walter Scheel, ehem. Bundespraesident (8.7.1919 – 24. 8. 2016)

Wenn man von etwas richtig begeistert ist, ist es nicht schwer, es auswendig zu lernen.

People are walking from one end of New Zealand to the other; from Bluff to Cape Reinga. The walk is 2244 km long and can be done in 66 days, I am reading in the paper today.

I have never been to BLUFF, but I have been to CAPE REINGA. Cape Reinga is not very far from Kaitaia, where I live.

“I LOVE KAITAIA”

“I love Kaitaia,” because of all the people who are coming into town. Only today I talked to a young man from Germany, who is a fundraiser for Barnardo.

Some children have done a lot of reading to be eligible for a FREE LUNCH, a Pizza.

On my first visit to the new coffee shop here in Kaitaia I saw the following written on the wall:

“H. O. P. E.

hold on, pain ends”

But only on the second visit I caught on to the real meaning of the writing.

I am sure you are quicker to catch on.
