Sunflower

Genesis 1:11

“Then  God said,  ‘Let the land produce vegetation: seed bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.”

I did not know that!

I am only reading today in our local paper that the American preacher Harold Camping predicted  that the world would end at 10pm last Saturday   ( 14.05. 2011).

What does the Bible, the Word of the Living God say?

Matthew 24:36

“‘No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.'”

It seems to me that people read anything except the Bible for themselves!

That reminds me of the following:

Matthew 23:9

“‘And do not call anyone on earth ‘father,’ for you have one Father, and he is in heaven.'”

Who is calling anyone on earth ‘father?’

You probably know the answer to that question!

First Timothy 4:3

“They forbid people to marry…”

Who is doing that?

Do you know?

“Little Duties!”

Are you bothered by the “Little Duties?” The things you have to do again and again every day. Nobody is free from them! Washing the dishes, making the bed, sweeping the floor………

I read this about the “Little Duties”:

“Life is full of little duties. Worrying about them, grumbling about them, dwelling upon them makes the duties shackles which bind us, but just doing the duties makes them wings.” – Anonymous

Does that help you? Please let me know. Just “doing the duties makes them wings?”

What does the Bible, the Word of the Living God say about all this?

First Corinthians 10:31:

“So whether you

eat or

drink or

whatever you do,

do it all for the glory of God.”
