I think I will listen again to really good BIBLE TEACHING by Dr. S Lewis Johnson on

www.believerschapeldallas.org.

Dr. S Lewis Johnson is an exegist (expositor). He is going verse by verse through whole books of the Bible.

I like also to listen to his Doctrinal Studies, Systematic Theology for example!

He went to be with the Lord in 2004.

“You are the controller” I am reading on the front page of the KINECT leaflet, I picked up at the Warehouse in Kaitaia today.

Click on image and you can read at least four times that “you are the controller”.

“YOU ARE THE CONTROLLER.”

Do you like to read that? Do you like to hear that? Do you believe that?

Some years ago I studied the attributes of God.

One of the attributes of God is his selfexistence. He is the only one who is selfexistent. We are dependent beings. We are dependent on God. We are not even sure of our next breath.

I assume that you have seen the images of the earthquake and the tsunami in Japan.

The Lord is on the throne. We are not on the throne.

But we find it so difficult to dethrone ourselves. We are willing to do almost everything, but we don’t want to dethrone ourselves.

Who is sitting on the throne of your life?

I did not know that there was a DRINK STATION in Kaitaia.

I discovered the drink station only several days ago. Of course, I know about the Sports Bar near the firestation. Even a casual visitor to Kaitaia can hardly miss the bar. But all of a sudden on a sunny day I looked up and I saw the big sign above the Sports bar saying DRINK STATION.

Let me tell you about my drink station:

There is an invitation to the Thirsty in  the prophet Isaiah. The thirsty are called to come to the waters.

The Lord Jesus Christ is also calling thirsty people to himself and tells them to drink. The water the Lord Jesus gives us quenches our thirst forever.

There is a psalm  of the Sons of Korah. In the psalm it says at the end that all our fountains are in God.

WAYFARER

A person who is going on a journey is called a wayfarer.

I WANT TO GO TO CAPE REINGA (Final Destination)

in the very north of New Zealand. At the Wayfarer Motel in Kaitaia, (….where journeys begin) the biggest town in the north of New Zealand, I am reading: “ALL TOURS ARRANGED”. Because it says there all tours arranged, I believe that the people in the office can arrange a journey to Cape Reinga for me.

They will also be able to tell me where to purchase the ticket and the cost of the tour.

I WANT TO GO TO HEAVEN (That is really my  final destination)

In the Bible, the Word of the Living God,  the Lord Jesus Christ says himself, “‘I AM THE WAY AND THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE. NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH ME.'” Because the Lord says that he is the way and that no one comes to the Father except through him I believe that the Lord is the only way to to heaven.

[The Lord says also in Mattew 24:7 “‘There will be ….. earthquakes in various places.'” (CHRISTCHURCH, NEW ZEALAND AND ONLY YESTERDAY IN JAPAN!)]

And only He can purchase the ticket.

We cannot buy the ticket with our good works, money , power and influence!

The sufficient price to purchase  the ticket is only the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.

“Can’t wait to get home and read your Northern News?” (The Northern News is a local newspaper)

The newspaper is now delivered online and we can check it out in the morning before our afternoon delivery arrives.

Another question for me to answer:

I can wait until the afternoon delivery arrives.

But I can’t wait to read my Bible every morning and the precious promises in the Bible.

“‘Do not be afraid, for I am with you;…'”

“HAVE WE GOT NEWS FOR YOU” I am

reading not only once but twice in one of our local papers, the NORTHERN NEWS, on page 6 and page 16.  (Wednesday, March 9, 2011)  On page 16 is also an exclamation mark: “HAVE WE GOT NEWS FOR YOU!

I have also got NEWS for you, not only news, but GOOD NEWS!

It is the GOOD NEWS about JESUS! It is the GOOD NEWS about Peace!

The apostles never stopped to teach and proclaim the GOOD NEWS, that Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah! Acts 5:42
