Yesterday I saw a little boy. He had written on his T-shirt:
“MY LIFE
MY RULES”
There was also a little picture to go with that.

When are we going to learn that we are dependent beings? – We are dependent on GOD!
“God never promises to remove us from our struggles. He does promise, however, to change the way we look at them.” – Max Lucado
“We cannot change the past, but we can change our attitude toward it. Uproot guilt and plant forgiveness. Tear out arrogance and seed humility. Exchange love for hate – thereby, making the present comfortable and the future promising.”
Maya Angelou
If you go to my TWTTER page and click on Favorites you will find that my first favorite tweet is:
“THERE ARE TWO THINGS WE SHOULD GIVE OUR CHILDREN: ONE IS ROOTS AND THE OTHER IS WINGS.” – Hodding Carter
How can we do that?
1. We must teach them the Bible!
2. We must pray for them!
Click on the following two verses of the Bible and read them:
— Colossians 2:6,7
— Isaiah 40:31
“Alcohol in our Lives.”
The flier displayed in the foyer of the local library was hard to ignore. Why? Because on the flier was written in very big letters “HAVE YOUR SAY!”
I like that. Some people need to be encouraged to say what they think. I think I belong to those people.
In smaller letters I read at the very top “Alcohol in our lives”.
It is all about the drinking culture in NZ. There is public concern and the public concern is growing. The leaflet is put out by the Law Commission and our feedback is very important. We are encouraged to make a submission.
Unfortunately the submissions closed last year at the end of October.
I am too late – but I will have my say anyway!
Alcohol is not in my life. I believe the Bible, the Word of the Living God. The law of the Living God never changes. Please read the Bible for yourself and find out what the Bible says about ALCOHOL!
I have the Lord Jesus Christ in my life.
The GOSPEL is the answer of course. But is the GOSPEL preached in the Churches of this country? It is so easy for churches to become everything else than what they are supposed to be.
