SHARE

“If you know a Tom, share a Coke with Tom. If you know a Sophie, share a Coke with Sophie.”

I am reading that inside a shop in Ahipara. (Ahipara is 14 km from Kaitaia.)

We are encouraged to share. We are encouraged to share a Coke. We are also encouraged to share the road.

I want to encourage you also. I want to encourage you to share the GOSPEL. I want to encourage you to share the GOSPEL with people you know and with people you do not know.

WHAT IS THE GOSPEL?

The Gospel is the good news. The Gospel is the good news about God’s love. The Gospel is the good news about God’s love in providing a Saviour.

“I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.” – Romans 1:16

THE GOSPEL PROCLAIMS

that Christ died for our sins – First Corinthians 15:3.

That He rose for our justification – Romans 4:25

That His grace can save – Titus 2:11

That His Blood can cleanse – First John 1:7

That His power can keep – First Peter 1:4

That His Spirit can enable – Acts 1:8

That His joy can cause us happiness and contentment – John 15:11

That His peace can make us calm – John 14:27

That He himself can fulfil all our needs – Philippians 3:7-9

It was only yesterday in Ahipare that I had the opportunity to tell three people  about my belief in the Lord Jesus Christ. They were from Austria and Switzerland and local. I did not know the people at all. It was my first meeting with them.

And today I met someone for the first time and it was my privilege to share the Gospel with that person for quite some time in our new library.

“Real Food”

In the magazine called “that’s life!” (December 10, 2012), I am reading again about “Real Food”.

What is “Real Food”? In the Bible in John 6:55 the Lord Jesus Christ says, “For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink.” And in John 4:34 we read: “‘My food,’ says Jesus, ‘ is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work.'”

TEACHERS!

“Be open to learning new lessons even if they contradict the lessons you learnt yesterday.” – Ellen Degeneres in Elle

I read the quote by Ellen Degeneres in the February 2007 Reader’s Digest.P1230131-300x225

I am now thinking about teachers.

We must find a teacher who is inerrant! But is there a teacher who is inerrant?  What is your answer?

Yes, there is a teacher who is inerrant. The inerrant teacher has even written a book for us.

The book the inerrant teacher has written for us has no contradictions.

The book written for us agrees with science. The book written for us agrees with geology. The book written for us agrees with general science. The book written for us agrees with chemistry. The book written for us agrees with geography.

The inerrant teacher is God the Holy Spirit and the name of the book is The Bible.

This is the second time that I am on the Trail. The first time I accessed the Trail by foot and today by vehicle.

19. 01. 2013 019 From the Trail guide I am learning that the Trail begins and ends at the Mangonui Courthouse and that the Trail is three kilometres long and that it takes one-and-a-half hours to walk the Trail.
