On the last page of the publication for teachers called “For teachers” you can find written “Keep in touch.” The New Zealand Teachers Council sees the importance for their teachers to keep in touch with them. Teachers can keep in touch with the New Zealand Teachers Council via website. Underneath there are also two questions, “Are you moving soon? Changing e-mail address?”

How much more important is it for us, as children of God, to keep in touch with our Father in Heaven. It is also much easier. We do not need a website or anything else. Wherever we are, we can cry out to God and he is hearing us. Read the promise in Luke 18:7 by clicking on the verse.

Underneath “Keeping in touch” it says ” Contact us.” You can contact the New Zealand Teachers Council by phone– fax– email– you can write– visit and of course contact them as mentioned before by website.

If you have never been in contact with the Lord Jesus Christ you cannot keep in touch, because you do not have a connection. Seek the Lord God today. Jeremiah 29:13. Get in contact with your creator today by calling on Him. Psalm 34:6: “This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles.” HE will hear from you.

And after you have done that, keep in touch with him all the time.

THINGS WILL GO WELL BY CONNECTING WITH THE CREATOR OF LIFE AND KEEPING IN TOUCH WITH HIM.

I have taken the 1000 Anzac Day flyers today to the contractor. He will make sure that they are in the letter boxes during the next three weeks. (IN KAITAIA) I am praying for the readers!

I am in the habit of reading the Bible from cover to cover at least once a year. I am just now reading the first nine chapters of First Chronicles.

When you come to those chapters, do you read them or do you skip them?

I saw the poster today on the wall in the photoshop , when I picked up my 1000 Anzac fliers. ( The fliers will be distributed before Anzac Day)

There are good memories and bad memories. The good memories are alright. We don’t mind talking about them. Maybe all of us do have a socalled ‘Dreaming Place’. My dreaming place is Tauranga Bay here in Northland with lots of memories. It is still very much like nature made it. Unfortunately I don’t have any pictures.

But what about our bad memories? When our conscience is accusing us? We don’t know what to do with those memories and nobody else does either. You cannot forget them either.

Who can deal with those bad memories?. We want them blotted out, do we not? Only the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ can blot out our bad memories. First John 1:7. Thank God, that there is a remedy.

I read a very interesting quote by R. Frost today,” The best way out is always through.”

This quote reminds me of a portion of Scripture in the book of Isaiah, Isaiah 43:1-3. In verse two we come across the word through three times, “through the waters, through the rivers, through the fire.”

When we pass through the waters, the Lord will be with us. When we pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over us. When we pass through the fire, we will not be burned and the flames will not set us ablaze.

In Hebrews 12:1-13 we read about “God disciplines His Sons.” No discipline seems pleasant.

We feel the water is almost over our heads. We feel the river sweeping over us. We feel the heat of the fire. But read what it says in Hebrews 12:11.

ATTITUDE IS A LITTLE THING THAT MAKES A BIG DIFFERENCE.

Because of jealousy we have the tendency to cut down those who are seen as more successful. (There are many ways of doing that of course!)

We may start to feel threatened by them.

We have a wrong attitude, if we resent those, who go for the best. We must change our attitude!

Only a small thing? (Not for me!)

It is a beautiful day and I am looking through the window panes of the ranchslider door. I can see two palm trees, not too big and not too small. They were actually here when we bought the place.

Many years ago– at another place– I had the desire to plant some palm trres. I thought, that would be really something. But I never did. All of a sudden Psalm 37:4 came to my mind again: Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart. And I have always said, that the Lord is giving us more than we ask for. He is good.

Look at the two beautiful palm trees in front of our house. Praise the Lord!

PS: That is one of the trees!

During our time in Kaikohe we had the visit from a missionary who had been in Africa (Congo) for 40 years. There was also revival while he was there! He prayed , before he left. But before he prayed he read from the book of REVELATION. Revelation 12:11! Click on the verse and read! I think I will always remember that occasion. He is now with the Lord!
