How do we get a CLEAN SLATE?

The ministry of Justice is trying to help those who are convicted with the Criminal Records (CLEAN SLATE) ACT 2004.– After looking through the leaflet I was quite confused.

The Lord Jesus Christ has helped us long ago by dying for us on the cross because we are all guilty before Allmighty God. The real CLEAN SLATE ACT is in the Bible. And the Bible is not confusing. Read First John 1:9!
