The Lord is answering prayers.

But sometimes not as we think He ought to answer. Because He knows a better way than we and he usually gives us more than we ask for.

Just one brief example: I used to study Systematic Theology using simple cassettes  and a play back machine. The lectures were one hour long on one side and sometimes the cassettes got stuck and became useless. I was frustrated and did not know what to do. And the Lord knew that I wanted to understand His word better. Also at that time I was not on line.

But now I am on line and I discovered the whole course is on line. And not only Systematic Theology but other books of the Bible exegeted verse by verse. What an answer to prayer.

The Lord gives more than we ask for. No more writing for cassettes to be sent and no more trouble with screwed up cassettes. Everything as clear as it could be on line.

In Franchise New Zealand Volume 7 Issue 2 Winter 1998 were 8 listed.

But I was especially interested in Mac Fact 2:

“The Golden Arches are recognised by more people world-wide than the Christian cross.”

Here are two quotations from a book I was given about a week ago:

” Love your calling with passion; it is the meaning of your life.” Auguste Rodin said that. “Sharing is my passion- it is my reason for being.” Steve Parish said that.

Maybe I come back later to say something about that.

The Glorious Dead (Monument in the middle of Kaitaia)

The monument made me think about the dead.

The Bible says in Hebrews 9,27: “Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, …..”

Working on a Computer Course consisting of 9 modules. So far I have passed 1 module consisting of 16 assessments. Took me only one week. Hope to have the ‘Certificate in Computing’ before the end of this year. It is an on-line course.

Saw a SHORT STORY competition advertised in the local library . Wrote the story the next day after I saw the advertisement and posted it the same day. Received the news by Email that it has arrived and they are wishing me all the best.

Saw the following written on a sign in front of the local tavern today: NO I.D. NO ENTRY!
