This afternoon in our local library here in Kaitaia, I saw the book:

“STEVE JOBS

THE MAN WHO THOUGHT DIFFERENT 

A BIOGRAPHY  BY KAREN BLUMENTHAL,”

on the book shelf and I was immediately interested and spent most of the afternoon reading the book in the library.

HOW  IS YOUR START IN THE MORNING?

“If you don’t start too well in the morning, get someone to choke you. It works with cars,” I am reading in the Grapevine magazine ISSUE 3 2012.

I have a question for all those who do not start too well in the morning: Are you doing your morning Quiet Time?

The BIBLE is food for the soul.

I noticed how important food is not many days ago. Our peace lily did not look good at all to say the least. But someone had already noticed that before me and done something about it.

The next day it looked so good that I had to take this picture:

Feed your soul in the morning! First Peter 2:2,3 says:

“Like  newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.”

I am reading that on a REPCO poster. You can see the poster at our local REPCO shop here in Kaitaia, in the north of New Zealand.

What else is on the poster? The picture on the poster shows dad with his two boys and the family car on the driveway. Dad and one boy are cleaning the big car and the other boy is cleaning his small car.

WE  ARE ENCOURAGED TO LOVE …

“Love NZ” I am reading on the recycle receptacles for plastic, glass and cans on Commerce Street here in Kaitaia. “Recycle with care.”

“love your stuff” says the insurance advertisement. (“STATE”) “Talk to us about your insurance.”

Can I encourage you to love the Lord Jesus Christ?

The BIBLE says in Deuteronomy 6:5: “LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL AND WITH ALL YOUR SRENGTH.”

The fact is actually that we are commanded to love the Lord!

I want to love the Lord, not only now – October 2012 – but all the rest of my life!
