Let me give you six reasons why my eyes are fixed on the Lord Jesus Christ:

1. He is the author of my faith.  Read Hebrews 12:2

2. He is the perfecter of my faith. Read again Hebrews 12:2

3. He is my refuge. Psalm 141:8

4. He shows me mercy. Psalm 123:1

5. He is my help. Psalm 121:1

6. He releases my feet from the snare. Psalm 25:15

“A LITTLE  BIT OF PARADISE…..”   AGAIN!

That’s what the advertisement says. (The New Zealand Herald, travel, October 4, 2011)

I don’t want “A little piece of paradise…….” I don’ even want a piece of paradise. I want paradise. With other words I want heaven.

Why do I want heaven? I am very glad to tell you.

Let’s study for a bit the characteristics of heaven:

In order to do that we must go to the last book of the Bible, the book called REVELATION.

There will be no more TEARS, no more DEATH, no more MOURNING, no more CRYING, no more PAIN.

There will be no  more NIGHT.

There will be no more HUNGER, there will be no THIRST.

What a place to go to!

EXIT INTO ETERNITY

Sooner or later the exit into ETERNITY comes for all of us!

Where do we find information about ETERNITY? The only book that gives us information about eternity is the Bible, the Word of the Living God.

The BIBLE teaches about ETERNAL HELL and ETERNAL HEAVEN. That means that heaven and hell are everlasting.

Do you want to know how one gets to hell?

You get to hell by neglect. Hebrews 2:3

Do you want to know how one avoids hell?

You avoid hell by receiving the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour. Proverbs 15:24

This is what the Bible says about LOVE:

I am reading that in the COFFEE NEWS on page two under the heading ON THE LIGHTER SIDE. (Vol 127:1) I am always looking forward to receive the COFFEE NEWS.  The  publication arrives usually every Tuesday here in Kaitaia, the Far North of New Zealand.

Most of us surely are unpractised in preparation for life.

Mosts of us are lacking training: guidance and teaching.

Most of us are lacking drilling.

Most of us are lacking a relationship with the  LIVING GOD!
