Isaiah 50:2
Was my arm too short to ransom you? Do I lack the strength to rescue you?
Isaiah 50:2
Was my arm too short to ransom you? Do I lack the strength to rescue you?
Psalm 127:2 (last part)
– for he grants sleep to those he loves. Or:-for while they sleep he provides for those he loves. (NIV)
I think I can almost say I have actually experienced that myself. I do not want to go here into details. Just believe me!

Psalm 94:12,13
BLESSED IS THE MAN YOU DISCIPLINE, O LORD,
THE MAN YOU TEACH FROM YOUR LAW;
YOU GRANT HIM RELIEF FROM DAYS OF TROUBLE,
TILL A PIT IS DUG FOR THE WICKED.
Psalm 94:19 When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought joy to my soul.
Psalm 68:19
Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burden. (NIV)
How can we experience that in daily living?
Isaiah 30:15
This is what the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel says:”In repentance and rest is your salvation, IN QUIETNESS and trust IS YOUR STRENGTH, but you would have none of it.”
Some years ago I repeated this verse quite often in my mind and it helped me to be quiet. Sometimes to be quiet is the only way out. Have you ever been in a situation like that?
I have just now. That’s why I wrote it down!
During my time in Thailand I listened quite a bit to the Far East Broadcasting Company. (FEBC) One progamme was called “Cowboy Joe.” It was mainly a music programme and during the broadcast Cowboy Joe pulled a golden nugget out of his bag, namely a Bible verse. All that came to my mind today when I found a REAL Golden Nugget during my quiet time this morning. Here it is: First Kings 8:10,11.
“AND THE PRIESTS COULD NOT PERFORM THEIR SERVICE , BECAUSE OF THE CLOUD, FOR THE GLORY OF THE LORD FILLED THE TEMPLE.”
Are we longing for the GLORY OF THE LORD?
I THINK THERE WILL BE MORE GOLDEN NUGGETS IN FUTURE!
