A. REMEMBER TODAY THAT YOUR CHILDREN WERE NOT THE ONES WHO

SAW AND

EXPERIENCED

THE DISCIPLINE OF THE LORD YOUR GOD:

1. his majesty,

2. his mighty hand,

3. his outstretched arm;

4. the signs he performed and

5. the things he did in the heart of Egypt,

a. both to Pharao king of Egypt and

b. to his whole country;

c. what he did to the Egyptian army,

d. to its horses and

e. chariots,

f. how he overwhelmed them with the waters of the Red Sea as they were pursuing you, and

g. how the LORD brought lasting ruin to them.

B. IT WAS NOT YOUR CHILDREN WHO

SAW

1. what he did for you in the desert until you arrived at this place, and

2. what he did to Dathan and Abiram, sons of Eliab the Reubenite,

3. when the earth opened its mouth right in the middle of all Isreal and swollowed them up

a. with their households,

b. their tents and

c. every living thing that belonged to them.
