What is PEACE?

“PEACE IS……

Gazing at the stars with the knowledge that you know their creator.

Closing your eyes in sleep without fear of tomorrow.

The stillness in your heart when trouble swirls around you.

A quiet mind in a raging world.” – Anon

What is now most likely the best known dive location in New Zealand?

What is now most likely the best known dive location in New Zealand?

I am finding the answer in the Westpac magazine called “love RED”, Issue 6-12 / 2011, page 12.

On the same page of the magazine I am reading also about the book TOP NEW ZEALAND DIVING SITES?  written by Darryll and Gillian Torckler.

“love REd” has five copies of the book  TOP NEW ZEALAND DIVING SITES?  to give away.

I am interested in the book and have answered the question:

WHERE IN NORTHLAND IS ONE OF DARRYL’S FAVOURITE DIVING SITES? and sent the answer: POOR KNIGHTS ISLAND NEAR WHANGAREI to the email given.

Darryl’s favourite diving location in Northland – Poor Knights island – is also the answer to the question:

What is now most likely the best known dive location in New Zealand?

What are your Goals?

Every year I am trying to read the BIBLE from cover to cover at least once. (every word!)

I started at the beginning of 2011 and finished today: 17. 12. 2011. (Genesis to Revelation)

I am not saying this to boast, but to encourage you to do the same!

Relationships

Relationships

“People have relationships with their doctor like they have relationships with their hairdresser – you don’t just jump ship because there’s someone cheaper down the road.” – Nick Heywood, Broadway Health Waipapa manager

That quote is from the article “CHEAPER DOCTORS’ VISITS AT WAIPAPA”, The Northland Age, Thursday, December 15, 2011.

I have never paid much attention to my relationship with my hairdresser. I had my last haircut before Christmas today and my hairdresser presented me with a beautiful pen. “THE CUTTING BAR, Kaitaia 0410” is engraved on the pen.

But I have always been thinking much about my relationship with my doctor and my dentist.

Why?

Because my body is important to me. You want a doctor and a dentist you can trust.

But we don’t only have a body. We have also a soul. And that is why my relationship with the living God is my most important relationship.

Do you have a relationship with the living God?
