I have done one course on line from home – NOW it is a new experience for me to sit in a class for 3 hours.

In Romans 1:16 the apostle Paul is saying, “I am not ashamed of the Gospel,…….”

It is good to meet up with people who are also not ashamed of the Gospel like the apostle Paul. Today I talked to a young man who is also not ashamed. He had First Corinthians 6:20 written on the front of his T – Shirt. He goes to a church here in Kaitaia. He believes that the GOSPEL is the power of  God for the salvation of everyone who believes. Read also Romans 1:17!

I am reading that in a smaller publication. The gadget has “iPod docking functionality with full control and charging” and you can access thousands of internet radio stations. It says also “….marvel at the unprecedented choice of radio content.”

What does the Bible say about “the world?” Bible verses are coming to my mind.  But as I look into my Bible,  I am reading more and more Bible verses about “the world.” I have listed them at the end.

I am quite challenged and something I heard  or read long ago I remember again. Maybe that is the reason, why the church of today is so powerless. This is what I remember:  “The church is not in the world, but the world is in the church.” And here are the verses from the Bible: First John 2:15-17; John 15:19; John 17:16; James 4:4; Romans 12:2. First Corinthians 7:31 and Galatians 6:14

I agree with Albert Schweitzer who said, “One does not have to be an angel in order to be a saint.”

Who is actually a Saint?

We have heard what Albert Schweitzer said. You have probably heard too what the catholic church has to say on this matter.

But what does the Bible say?

Please look at me – unfortunately that is not possible –  and you can say, “That is saint Werner!” That is of course hard to believe, but it is the truth. And the same is of course true of you, if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ.
