Quote

“BUT THE DEEPER TRUTH IS THAT WHILE THERE IS HOPE, THERE IS LIFE, BECAUSE IN THE ABSENCE OF ANYTHING EXCITING TO LOOK FORWARD TO, LIFE NO LONGER FEELS WORTH LIVING.” – J. I. Packer

MEDIATOR

Some people think there are many ways to God. They react negatively to the fact that there is only one way (John 14:6).

“For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, …” – 1 Timothy 2:5

In First Timothy 2:5 we read, “FOR THERE IS ONE GOD AND ONE MEDIATOR BETWEEN GOD AND MEN, THE MAN CHRIST JESUS, WHO GAVE HIMSELF AS A RANSOM FOR ALL MEN – THE TESTIMONY GIVEN AT ITS PROPER TIME.”

WHAT ARE THE FACTS?

We are separated from God. SIN has separated us. We need a Savior. His name is JESUS! Jesus is both God and man. His sacrifice brought  new life to all people. God offered the Lord Jesus Christ as the way to have an eternal relationship with himself.

And please listen to what it says in Acts 4:12, “SALVATION is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.”

No other religious teacher could die for us. No other religious teacher came to earth as God’s only Son. No other religious teacher rose from the dead.

Has the Lord Jesus Christ bridged then gap between you and God? Please let him do it!

“NEED TO TALK?”

“Need to talk?”

I am finding that question in the publication called “Kaitaia Connect” (Dec 2018), and I love to answer questions like that. I can free call or text a certain number to be connected with a trained counselor.

“Christmas can be a stressful and lonely time.”

In the same newsletter I am reading also that Christmas and the summer holidays are a good time to re-charge our batteries, but that Christmas can also be a stressful and lonely time.

And yes, I need to talk, not only to people, but I need also to talk to God. Talking to God is called praying. The soul of man talking to God is called prayer.

“Need to talk?” It is good to talk to trained counselors, but what can be better to make our needs known to the almighty God, our creator. “CAST ALL YOUR ANXIETY ON HIM BECAUSE HE CARES FOR YOU.” – 1 Peter 5:7
