When I read today the quote “There is nothing as strong as gentleness and nothing so gentle as real strength” by Ralph W. Sockman the verse Philippians 4:5 came to my mind where it says:
“Let your gentleness be evident to all.”
“……; for he endured as seeing him who is invisible.” – Hebrews 11:27
The Bible says that about Moses. Moses did not focus on what he had to endure, but he looked through the window of faith to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Today I read the quote by Eleanor Roosevelt: “He who loses money, loses much; he who loses a friend, loses much more; he who loses faith, loses all.”
I don’t know what you have to endure at the present time. Many are sick, many don’t know how to pay their bills, many are out of work.
Follow the example of Moses and look through the window of faith.
What do you see?
You see the Lord Jesus Christ.
He is not only the pioneer, but also the perfecter of our faith. Why did he endure the cross? Why did he despise the shame? Because joy was set before him and he is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
He endured the hostility against himself from sinners. Why did he do that? He did that that we may not grow weary or fainthearted.

“And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself.” – Luke 24:27
“Successfully preparing your babies & toddlers for the big wide world.”
That’s what I read when looking at the advertisement of the ABC LEARNING CENTRES at the bottom of the frontpage of the paper. (Saturday, May 7, 2o11 Weekend Herald)
The centres are working together with the parents, they are having quality environments and friendly, qualified teachers.
I am interested in preparing children for the big wide world. How can we do that successfully?
Please let me know!
