I will go….

“Where there is a will, there is a way.”

Are you familiar with that saying? I am.

Today is  Saturday. On Saturday Kaitaia is turning into a market town.

But it is raining! It is raining! And I say it is raining! But I say to myself, “I will go to the market. My yellow rain coat I bought for two Dollars will keep me dry.”

And how surprised I am how many people said,  “I will go to the market….”, in spite of the heavy rain,  “and sell my merchandise.”

“Where there is a will, there is a way.”

In the Gospel of Luke in chapter 15 the Lost Son says also,  “I will set out and go …..back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and you.”

But he says even more. He says,  “I am no longer worthy to be called your son;……”

Before he said, “I have sinned” he he said, ” I am starving to death!”

Are you also starving to death?

Say, “I will go…”

“I will go to my Father in heaven and tell him that I have sinned.”

“Where there is a will, there is a way!”
