Throwing Stones!

Throwing Stones!

I like to throw stones. And I like to throw the stones far enough. Continue to read and find out what I am talking about.

Part one:

“WINNING WAYS TO WELLBEING”, I am reading on the postcard  from the Mental Health Foundation of  New Zealand.

The five ways are: Connect, Give, Take Notice, Learn and Be Active.

Under Connect we are encouraged to develop relationships. Why? Because relationships support us and enrich our life. We are encouraged to connect with friends, family, colleagues and neighbours.

I have a relationship with friends, family, colleagues and neighbours.

But I have also a relationship with the LIVING GOD!

I don’t need to say more; you get the point.

Part two:

The slender volume is all about Family Violence. It says that Family Violence is not OK!

The booklet closes with a quote which stresses the importance of having someone to talk to.

Why talk to someone?

The booklet teaches me that talking releases energy and calms down. The message is clear: TALK, talk to someone your trust.

I have never felt a great need to talk to people.

I think the reason is that  I have learned from an early age to talk to the LIVING GOD.

What is talking with Jesus? Talking with Jesus is prayer.

Believe me, I like to throw stones; and I like to throw the stones far enough!
