MEDIATOR

MEDIATOR

“LAWYER AND MEDIATOR” it says on the sign that is hanging in front of the house and I am alert. The name of the lawyer and mediator is written at the very top of the advertisement and at the bottom I read the phone number in very big print. I am always alert, when I am reading the word MEDIATOR.

My HOME STUDY DICTIONARY teaches me that a mediator is “One that mediates and interposes between parties at variance for the purpose of reconciling them.”p10502281-150x150

A PEACE TREATY BETWEEN MEN

We are looking for a peace treaty between men.

Please type VIOLENCE / DOMESTIC VIOLENCE into the search box on this blog and read more!

Why do we war with one another? You know the answer. The answer is: SIN!

 A PEACE TREATY WITH GOD

But are we also looking for a peace treaty with God?

We war not only with one another because of sin, we are also the enemies of God because of sin.

In an old dictionary – HOME STUDY DICTIONARY – I am reading under “MEDIATE” with great joy that “Christ is called THE MEDIATOR, being our intercessor with God.”

If you want to know  how the Lord Jesus Christ is interceding for us, his people, right now, read the wonderful intercessory prayer as recorded in John chapter fifteen. In Luke 22:32 the Lord Jesus Christ is praying for Peter that his faith might not fail.

Please read Colossions 1:20. In First Timothy 2:5 the BIBLE says:

“FOR THERE IS ONE GOD AND ONE MEDIATOR BETWEEN GOD AND MEN, THE MAN CHRIST JESUS,…”

IF WE WANT TO HAVE A PEACE TREATY BETWEEN MEN, WE MUST FIRST OF ALL HAVE  A PEACE TREATY WITH GOD!

COMMITMENT

“New Zealand Post is committed to helping all of New Zealand discover the joy of words and reading,” I am reading on a card I picked up on my recent trip to Auckland in New Zealand. New Zealand Post is achieving that through sponsership of four key programmes.P1220657

I am committed to  helping all of the world not only to discover the joy of words and reading, but especially to helping all of the world discover the joy of  the words – promises, I call GOLDEN  NUGGETS –  in the BIBLE and reading the BIBLE.

Why?

Sir Walter Scott again: He himself was the author of many books and possessed a great library and he said, “THERE IS BUT ONE BOOK, THE BIBLE.”

How do I achieve that?

Here are two GOLDEN NUGGETS, especially for those, who have a Living Relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

“The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.” – First John 3:8

“They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony;..” Revelation 12:11

What are you committed to?

“YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT.”

“You are what you eat.”

That are the opening words of the chapter called NUTRTION in the publication called “Essential Reading for  50+.” – Pharmacy Guild of New Zealand (INC)P1220585

But let us remember that we are not only feeding our body, but that we are also feeding our mind.

PYSICAL FOOD. Food for the body.

Food for the body is in the kitchen!

I am learning that in order to have energy, keep me strong and have protection against sickness, a balanced, varied diet is essential.

We must eat vegetables and fruits, breads and cereals, milk and milk products, lean meats, chicken, eggs, seafood, nuts and lentils.

SPIRITUAL FOOD. Food for the soul. Food for the mind.

Food for the mind is in the library.

What kind of books do you find in my library?

You find BIBLES and devotional books. You find expositions of books of the BIBLE. You find autobiographies and biographies. You find lots and lots of really good books in my library!

LET US REMEMBER, WE ARE WHAT WE EAT!
