“Vitamin D keeps elderly on their feet,” is an article called in the September 2013 Age Concern Kaitaia & District Incorporated newsetter on page six.
I am interested, because I am elderly.
“A Feilding rest home has seen outstanding results after taking part in a vitamin D supplement programme to reduce falls by elderly residents.”
I am interested in my physical life, but I am even more interested in my spiritual live.
When I looked up the subject in the Bible, I came to the word “stumble”, and this is what one verse says:
“Great peace have they who love your law, and nothing can make them STUMBLE.” – Psalm 119:165
It says here that nothing can make the people who love the BIBLE stumble! What a promise! Notice also that they who love the BIBLE have also great peace.
Why do I love the Bible? I consider the Bible as the supreme book. There are several reasons.
Where do men find the answer to the question of life?
Where do men find the answer to the question of death?
The BIBLE has the answer!
Where do men turn to in the hour of tragedy?
Where do men turn to in the hour of death?
They turn to the Bible!
What must I do, if I don’t want to stumble in my spiritual life? I must love the law of the LORD.
What must I do, if I don’t want to stumble in my physical life? I must take vitamin D supplements.
