In Wirklichkeit sind wir alle Verwalter fremder Gueter, nur was wir in die Ewigkeit vorausschicken, ist in Wahrheit unser Eigentum.

SERMON OUTLINE – NT – The Amplified Bible

“Which commandment is first and most important of all (in its nature)?”

Mark 12:28-31

Intr.:

“Jesus answered,

1.  The first and principal one of all commands is, Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord;

And you shall love the Lord your God

a.  out of and with all your whole heart, and

b.  out of and with all your soul (your life) and

c.  out of and with all your mind – [that is] with your faculty of thought and your moral understanding – and

d.  out of and with all your strength. This is the first and principal commandment.

2.  The  second is like it and is this,

You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

End:

There is no commandment greater than these.”

“REVIVAL AREA”

We really don’t need any encouragement to revive our body.

But we need lots of encouragement to revive our soul.

In Psalm 19:7 we read:

“The law of the Lord is perfect, REVIVING THE SOUL. The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple.”

"REVIVAL AREA"

“REVIVAL AREA”

Please read the following verses to revive your soul:

1.  Isaiah 30:15: Do you want to be strong?

2.  First John 1:9: Here we are told what to do with our sins.

3.  First Corinthians 3:11: Are you looking for a foundation to stand on?

4.  Second Corinthians 3:17 : Do you want to know where to find FREEDOM?

5.  First John 3:8: The Son of God came to destroy the devil’s work.

6.  Revelation 12:11: Here we are told how to overcome.

7.  James 4:2: Ask God and you will have.

8.  Matthew 11:28: Are your weary and burdened?

Let me remind you again that it says in Matthew 4:4

“IT IS WRITTEN: ‘MAN DOES NOT LIVE ON BREAD ALONE, BUT ON EVERY WORD THAT COMES FROM THE MOUTH OF GOD.'”

Please remember also who is speaking!

House or Home?

HOUSE OR HOME?

A HOUSE OR A HOME?

A HOUSE OR A HOME?

In his column ONWARDS AND UPWARDS our MP informs us about the “New laws to protect children.” (The Northland Age, Thursday, September 12, 2013)

He writes “more than 50 children have died in the past five years because of extreme abuse.”

“Love makes our house a home.”

But can we legislate love? I remember Billy Graham once saying that we cannot legislate LOVE.

A Few Words in Mandarin Chinese

Mandarin Chinese is the official language of China since 1917.

Today I was able to learn some words in Mandarin Chinese like HELLO (to elderly, to someone younger or the same age), THANK YOU and GOOD BYE.

A Chinese family invited us to share a meal with them in their shop coming Monday. An elderly lady from China, who does not speak English, will also be present.

And today “it just happened” that I got in contact with two ladies – I have never met them before – at a family restaurant (McDonald’s) who speak Mandarin Chinese and were willing to give me my first (and very brief) language lesson.
