I DISCOVERED THIS CROSS YESTERDAY

Although I have been here in Kaitaia for a good number of years, I only noticed yesterday the cross on the roof of the local hospital.

The cross has a message for us. The message of the cross is:

“‘Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are  mine.'”

To some the message of the cross is foolishness.

If the message of the cross is foolishness to you you belong to those who are perishing.

To some the message of the cross is the Power of God.

If the message of the cross is the Power of God to you you are being saved.

For me the message of the cross is is the Power of God and I am being saved!

The message of the cross is atonement and justification.
