SPIRITS
We must be careful what we believe.
There are many spirits calling for our attention. The question is, are they from God or are they not from God? We are told in the Bible to test them.
RIGHT TEACHING
There is the Spirit of truth. The Spirit of truth is also the Spirit of God.
The Spirit of truth believes in the Virgin Birth of the Lord Jesus Christ.
One purpose why the Lord Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem was to reveal God. Another to become the mediator between God and man. Another to save us. Another to rescue the whole creation.
Let us make sure that we don’t only teach this wonderful truth at Christmas, but every day of the year.
Right Teaching, Right Living.
WRONG TEACHING
But there is also the spirit of error.
The spirit of error is the spirit of the antichrist. We have heard that the spirit of the antichrist is coming, but the fact is that he is here already.
The spirit of error is proclaimed by the false prophets. There are quite a good number in this world.
The spirit of error does not believe in the Virgin Birth of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Wrong Teaching, Wrong Living.
Are you listening to the right teaching, or are you listening to the wrong teaching?
Remember:
Wrong Teaching, Wrong Living!
Right Teaching, Right Living!

FOODIE
“So, you care about what goes into your body?” it says on the back of the packet of potato crisps.
What a good question!
Another good question is, “So, you care about what goes into your mind?”
Food for the body and food for the mind.
Since I am more familiar and more interested in the food that provides mental nourishment or stimulus, I want to tell you about what I know about the food for the mind.
In “THE BOOK OF BOOKS” we read, “Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.”
How do we do that?
I am reading the Good Book from cover to cover usually in the morning at least one chapter a day. Yesterday I read Deuteronomy chapter 13. Chapter 13 is all about “Worshiping other Gods”.
But I read also Devotional Books. The authors are Billy Graham, C. H. Spurgeon and others.
And yes, I care about what goes into my body.
But I care even more about what goes into my mind.
I hope you do too.
