But from a biblical perspective, we don’t pray better by becoming more ‘spiritual’; we pray better by becoming more ‘physical.’ – Matt Woodley Sourced from: IN TOUCH magazine, March 2014
Alles hat seine Zeit, und die Hauptsache ist, dass man mit Gott Schritt haelt und ihm nicht immer schon einige Schritte vorauseilt, allerdings auch keinen Schritt hinter ihm zurueckbleibt. – Dietrich Bonhoeffer
Started reading the book THE END OF THE WORLD, by Bruce Milne.
“The Doctrine of the Last Things.”
The storm has descended on us and that is especially a time to read good books.
But in spite of the storm I have been to the nearest coffee shop in town for a cup of coffee. The rain is not really all that bad, but the storm is terrible.
But what a blessing it is to read in the book THE END OF THE WORLD by Bruce Milne that:
“The great forces of the universe are all his servants and he is Lord over them all (Isaiah 40:12-31).”
Please read Isaiah 40:12-31. I have read the verses this morning and have been blessed!
“To win a copy of NEW ZEALAND’S LOST HERITAGE tell us your favorite building,” I am reading in the magazine called WAR CRY 08 March 2014 on page four.
I will tell you about my favorite building and I know that I will do that with great joy.
MY FAVORITE BUILDING IS BUILT BY GOD.
1. Exodus 15:11: God is holy.
2. First John 4:8: God is love.
3 First Corinthians 1:9: God is faithful.
4. Psalm 103:8: God is merciful.
5. Deuteronomy 32:4: God is just.
MY FAVORITE BUILDING IS IN HEAVEN.
1. Revelation 20:10: The devil will never enter there.
2. Luke 12:33: Thieves will never enter there.
3. Matthew 6:9: God the Father lives there.
4. First Thessalonians 4:14 All those who have died trusting in Jesus will be there.
Apparently New Zealanders are not very good when it comes to looking after old and proud buildings. Some buildings have been already bulldozed and demolished. Eventually all the buildings will be no more, but my house in heaven will be eternal.
My Favorite Building on earth, the Cambridge Country Store, used to be a Church and is now also a Coffee Shop
