A Problem
When you go to bed in the evening, do you have a problem falling asleep? It is easy to go to bed, but falling asleep is the problem.
Reading about that problem quite a bit, makes me think that many people must have it. (I even read about it today in a newspaper.)
In the magazine called Living Well, Spring / Summer 2015, I am not only finding “8 ways to a good night’s sleep,” but also the article called “Sleeping Well”.
One tip is to “say no to stimulants,” like coffee, chocolate and cigarettes, another tip is to “relax,” another to “try a natural remedy,” and another to “count sheep.” I like especially the tip to “ditch the clock”. It says that the clock “fuels the no-sleep anxiety.”
To fall asleep was no problem for David. Let us read what he says in Psalm three and Psalm four. He does not only say, “I lie down and sleep,” but he says, “I lie down and sleep in peace.” (Psalm 3:5 and Psalm 4:8)
Why did he not have the problem?
He could say that because he trusted the Lord, in spite of all the bad things that happened to him.

RELATIONSHIPS
A relationship expert says that positive relationships make us feel safe.
I am finding that in the Spring / Summer 2015 Living Well magazine.
That’s why Fanny J. Crosby, who had a relationship with the Living God could say:
“Save in the arms of Jesus,
Save from the storm’s fierce test!
There, by His love surrounded,
Gladly my soul shall rest.”
I am learning also that people who feel safe have better health, are better off emotionally and professionally and anything becomes possible for them.
And what does the Lord Jesus Christ say about people who have a living relationship with Him in the Bible?
In Mark 9:23 the Lord says: “‘EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE FOR HIM WHO BELIEVES.'”
WHAT A PROMISE!
Once more: Everything is possible for the people who have a living relationship with the Living God.
