THIS MORNING IN KAITAIA

On the main street children were singing and there was also a free sausage sizzle.

CHILDREN SINGING

“WE LOVE KAITAIA,” and “Help make it a better place to live,” was written on the leaflets the children were distributing while they were singing with their teacher in front of the post office and collecting money for school activities.

How can we make Kaitaia a better place to live? Who wants to answer?

"CHOICE NOT CHANCE"

“CHOICE NOT CHANCE”

SAUSAGE SIZZLE

Sausage sizzle is an event in Australia and New Zealand at which sausages are barbecued to raise money for a school or other organization. But this event was all about “CHOICE NOT CHANCE,” and “Let’s choose to end harmful gambling.”

I received not only literature about gambling, but also a bag, a wristband and a pen with the message: “CHOICE NOT CHANCE.”

Not only the barbecued sausages were free, but also a free drink was offered. I enjoyed both!

How can we end gambling? Who wants to answer?

How glad I am that I went out this morning.
