Today I attended the meeting in the Marae Room at Kaitaia Primary School at 11am. Mr. Malcolm Matthews talked about the founding of KAITAIA and life in the town’s early years.

“Relationship matters” are emphasized in the article I am looking at. I notice also that it says that workers from Barnardos were also in the White Ribbon campaign tent yesterday, and I am very interested.

Fathers must role model respectful bahaviour and teach their sons to become respectful young men, it says in the article.

A White ribbon ambassador says that it starts at home with Mum and Dad and the children. It is all about good relationships, the relationship between husband and wife and the relationship between parents and children.

Thomas John Barnardo had heart for the street kids in London. He lived from 1845 – 1905. His prayer and goal for the children was to bring them into a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

People who have a living relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ find it easier to live in peace with other people.
