“The ocean breeze will set you free,” I read yesterday in a shop at MANGONUI.

I can hardly grasp that people believe that, but it shows that we humans are looking for freedom.

Ninety Mile Beach

Sitting on a hot day at the beach and having the ocean breeze cool you down is surely refreshing. I have done that not only here in New Zealand, but also in Thailand.

But if we are looking for the real freedom, we must come to the Lord Jesus Christ, who gives us not only the ocean breeze, but who gives us also freedom from sin.

In Second Corinthians it says:

“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”

“Ich aber rede von deinen Befehlen,” ist der Titel eines Buches von Pfarrer Johannes Busch.

Und hier sind nun einige Verse, die von den Befehlen des Herrn sprechen:

“Ich aber rede von deinen Befehlen”

a. In Josua  17:4 Eleasar, Josua und die Obersten taten nach dem Befehl des Herrn.

b. In Matthaeus 1:24 folgte Joseph dem Befehl des Herrn.

c. Weise aus dem Morgenland sind in Matthaeus 2:12 dem Befehl Gottes gehorsam.

d. Die Juenger folgten dem Befehl des Herrn. (Matthaeus 21:6)

e. Was der Herr den Juengern befohlen hat, sollten sie alle Voelker lehren. (Matthaeus 28:20)

f. Was sollen diejenigen sagen, die die Befehle des Herrn ausfuehren? (Luke 17:10)

g. Hier befiehlt der Herr denen, die zusammengekommen waren, in Jerusalem zu warten. (Apostelgeschichte 1:4)

h. In 1. Korinther 9:14 finden wir einen Befehl fuer die Gemeinde.

i. In Luke 3:2 befiehlt Gott dem Johannes, des Zacharias Sohn. Was befiehlt er ihm?

j. In Nehemia 1:7 tut es Nehemia leid, dass sie nicht die Befehle des Herrn gehalten haben.

k. In 1. Samuel 15:24 sagt Saul zu Samuel, dass er gesuendigt hat, denn er hatte des Befehl des Herrn uebertreten.

Pfarrer Johannes Busch hatte einen Bruder Wilhelm Busch, der auch Pfarrer war, und von ihm sagte man, dass er immer vom Herrn Jesus redete.

Pfarrer Wilhelm Busch hatte seine Jugendarbeit in Essen/Germany und ich fuhr dort oft hin, als ich gerade neu zum Glauben gekommen war. Ich wohnte zu der Zeit in Bottrop, 12 km von Essen entfernt.
