yet they make their home in the crags;

3.  LOCUSTS have no king,

yet they advance together in ranks;

4.  a  LIZARD can be caught with the hand,

yet it is found in kings’ palaces.'”

KAITAIA TIMEBANK

Saturday Market in Kaitaia

Saturday Market in Kaitaia

Today, while visiting the Saturday Market here in Kaitaia, I picked up some information concerning the KAITAIA TIMEBANK.

Kaitaia TimeBank is a project by Transition Town Kaitaia.

On the information sheet it says:

“TimeBanking is a system that allows members to trade time and skills in return for time credits. Giving an hour of your time helping someone, earns an hour of someone’s time helping you.”

“1 hour of time is 1 time credit.”

The Febr-Jul 2013 Constitution Conversation

THE FEBR-JUL 2013 CONSTITUTION CONVERSATION

On one side of the postcard I find two questions:

WHAT ARE YOUR ASPIRATIONS FOR AOTEAROA NEW ZEALAND?

HOW DO YOU WANT OUR COUNTRY TO BE RUN  IN THE FUTURE?

THE FEB-JUL 2013 CONSTITUTION CONVERSATION

THE FEB-JUL 2013 CONSTITUTION CONVERSATION

On the other side of the postcard it says:

“Our constitution is the set of rules that determines how this country is governed and how we all live together.”

I actually intended to answer the above two questions. But here is what Billy Graham says:

“No matter how advanced its progress, any generation that neglects its spiritual and moral life is going to disintegrate. This is the story of man and this is our modern problem.”

“all kinds of help!”

wernerweb-150x150We find “all kinds of help!” in the CARERS NEW ZEALAND NZ Guide. Go to the NZ GUIDE and you find the answer to the question: “Who’s out there?” (Family Care, Spring 2012)

The guide lists more than 60 websites, where we can go for help. Here are some of them:

CARERS NEW ZEALAND, CHINESE LIFELINE, LIFELINE, RELATIONSHIPS AOTEAROA, ST JOHN  CARING CALLER!

When I need help I go first of all to the Living God like the Psalmists for example.

In Psalm 118:6 David says:

“In my distress I called to the LORD; I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears.”

Do you know why I go first of all to the Living God? Here is David with the answer:

“Give us aid against the enemy, for the help of man is worthless.” – Psalm 118:12
