HARAKEKE – FLAX

“When words are many, sin is not absent, but he who holds his tongue is wise.” – Proverbs 10:19

That’s why we say in German: “REDEN IST SILBER, SCHWEIGEN IST GOLD.” (“Talking is silver, being silent is gold.”)

NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION

“CHURCH SURVEY SHOWS  BIBLICAL ILLITERACY IS RIFE,” is an article called in  the NORTHERN ADVOCATE.  (Saturday, June 22, 2013)

In my reading of the Bible from cover to cover, I always start with GENESIS at the beginning of each year, I finished just reading the PSALMS.

I want to encourage you to read the Bible, The Bible is “THE BOOK OF BOOKS.”

Readers of the local paper, THE NORTHLAND AGE, are invited to submit photos to the editor. The pictures are to depict the Far North’s special qualities.

Cooper’s Beach

I submitted the photo above and it appeared in the paper today.

The editor wrote:

Seen today on a blackboard:

“Wise men talk because they have something to say… Fools, because they have  to say something.”
